 Dr. Amalia Muñoz Cintas

She obtained her Ph.D in chemistry at the University of Valencia, Spain. She is a Senior Researcher at CEAM Foundation, and the Manager of the European Photo-reactor (EUPHORE). Her main field of interest is the study of gas-phase reactions relevant to photooxidant formation, pesticides and photocatalysis. She is co-author of more than 30 publications, most of them in peer review journals of high impact and chapter books. She is currently a PI in several European, and national and regional Spanish projects on atmospheric chemistry and fate of pesticides.

Dr. Teresa Vera Espallardo

She obtained her Ph.D in Physical Chemistry at the Universitat de Valencia, Spain. She is a Junior Researcher at CEAM Foundation. She is responsible for the liquid chromatographic systems (LC-MS and HPLCs) at the EUPHORE department and the PTR-MS instrument. Her main interests are focussed on atmospheric chemistry, photochemical oxidation of compounds in the atmosphere, and chemical characterization of compounds in gas and particulate phase, i.e. pesticides. She is co-author in a number of papers in peer review journals of high impact and chapter books and attended scientific symposiums with oral and posters contributions. She also has participated in national and international projects and contracts related with pesticides.

Milagros Ródenas García

She is Physicist and Electronical Engineer by the University of Valencia, where she also obtained her Diploma for Advanced Studies of the PhD programme in Electronic Engineering. She is responsible for the optical systems at the EUPHORE department and has a wide experience in Infrared and UV systems. Her main interests are focussed on the development of analytical systems and of new algorithms for data analysis. She has programmed software for the analysis of spectroscopic data and applications which have been used in the characterization and study of the behaviour of a wide range of compounds, e.g. pesticides, in the EUPHORE chambers. She is co-author in a number of papers and has participated in many national and international projects and contracts about pesticides and has attended scientific congresses.
