Master of Science by CHIEM (1995) and PhD Agricultural Engineer by the University
Politénica of Valencia (thesis defended in 2003 with a grade of Outstanding cum laude by unanimity of the court). Since 1993 he has been working in the Center for Environmental Studies of the Mediterranean (CEAM), combining scientific and technical activities related to the prevention, evaluation and restoration of burned areas.
20 years of research experience in forestry restoration lines, with participation in more than 10 R & D Projects financed in public, national and / or international calls, including: Sustainable Telematics for Environmental Management (STEM); Restoration of degraded ecosystems in Mediterranean regions (REDMED); Geomatics in the Assessment and Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Rangelands (GEORANGE); Restoration actions to combat desertification in the Northern Mediterranean (REACTION). Forest fires under climate, social and economic changes in Europe, the Mediterranean and other fire-affected areas of the world (FUME), Prevention and Restoration Actions to Combat Desertification. An Integrated Assessment (PRACTICE).
More than 30 contributions to national and international congresses and 45 publications or scientific-technical documents in national and international journals.
Participation in R & D contracts with companies and / or administrations (national and / or international), to carry out soil cartography, technical assistance (TRAGSATEC, VAERSA, TECNOMA, Statistical Analysis of Data, SA) and research agreements And Ministry of the Environment).
