After obtaining a degree in Physics from the University of Valencia, he obtained his doctorate in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies of the University of Tasmania, Australia (1996).
He is working since 1999 in the area of ​​Meteorology and Dynamics of Pollutants of the CEAM Foundation in which it has developed an activity mainly in the field of foresight and meteorological risks by torrential temperatures and rainfall, around the theme of forest fires, field-based instrumentation, satellite observation of land temperature and sea surface, and evaluation of the collection of fog water. He has been responsible for the operation of several of the infrastructure belonging to the CEAM Foundation: a network of meteorological and mountain stations located in the Valencian Community and a reception station for transmissions of meteorological satellites belonging to the US agencies NOAA and European Union.
He has been a principal investigator in four projects under the National R & D & I Plan and participated in eight other projects financed in public calls. It has a history of scientific publications in both international and national journals, as well as participation in a number of congresses and conferences in the field of meterology and the environment.
